Green waste dump in Méjannes-le-Clap
You can drop off your green waste, pallets, bulky waste (wood, plastic), cardboards and rubble at the waste dump of Méjannes. 3 25 cubic metres refuse bins are availble inside a fenced park.
Please be aware it is forbidden to dump scrap iron, metal and electrical household appliances. You can dispose of this sort of garbage at the waste dump of St Victor de Malcap or you can call the bulky waste collecting service which can come to your house 2 Thursdays a month.
Opening hours of the green waste dump (Route de la Genèse):
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 2 to 5 PM
Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
Bulky waste disposal
Bulky waste is collected by a service of the Communauté de Communes de Cèze Cévennes. You can ask for your waste to be collected by calling this number: +33 (0)4 66 61 32 93Then leave your waste at your doorstep or before your gate before 8 AM on the Thursday the service is due to collect it .

Recycling centres
There a several recycling centres in Méjannes: one Rue des Coronilles, one Chemin de l'Agasse, one at the crossroads between the Rue des Volettes and the Rue du Champs de Mars and one Route de la Genèse, near the new cemetery.Each centre has 3 bins: the green one is for glass, the yellow one for carboard, cans and plastic bottles, and the blue one for paper.
