As a certified holiday resort since 1977, Méjannes is a place where everything is done to make visitors feel at home all year long.  

This country village from the South of France was entirely thought and rebuilt to accommodate holiday-goers and has now become a relevant countryside alternative to seaside resorts. Méjannes-le-Clap is a destination for nature lovers and sun-bathing afficionados, but is also located near several must-go sites that will make for exciting visits. 

With huge "garrigue" (scrubland) forests, wild beaches in the gorges of the Cèze river and a multitude of caving spots, the unique geography of the area has turned the village into a choice rendez-vous for all outdoor activities enthusiasts.

Our Tourist Information Office is certified "Catégorie 1", which means our team works hard to constantly improve the quality of services provided to visitors. The "Qualité Tourisme", "Qualité Tourisme Occitanie-Sud de France" and "Tourisme et Handicap" certifications are additional proof that your satisfaction is our goal.

The municipality of Méjannes has chosen to join the "Label Famille Plus" , a certification which ensures families they will find accommodation, activities and equipments specially designed for them in the village itself but also when visiting or staying with local professionals (restaurants, hosts, tourist sites).

In 2018, the "holiday resort" certification of Méjannes was renewed. This is a strong sign that for over 40 years now, our 700 souls village puts all its energy into making Méjannes a holiday destination you will keep wanting to come back to.
