Les InKorrigibles and the Festival des Chapelles present the Alauda Basso concert with Chani Bauza and Eric Chalan on May 30th at 8:30 pm in the Méjannes le Clap chapel. Their duo, Alauda Basso, adapts operatic and oratorio arias for voice and amplified double bass, incorporating sound effects and improvisational passages. Playing on the boundary between classical and improvised music, between acoustic and electronic, these two excellent musicians invite us to rediscover the music of Purcell, Rossini, and Charpentier, shifting our listening perspectives.

A few pop and jazz pieces extend this reinterpretation and broaden its resonance.

A post-concert reception will be offered in the chapel square.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved on the Festival website.
