The relaxation area is open to all, all year round, free of charge and with unrestricted access. It is located in Méjannes-le-Clap, on the D167a, and was built in 1997.
Picnic tables are available.
As you stroll through the relaxation area, you'll discover different types of flowers and plants: a green oak grove, juniper, a white oak grove, the Montpellier maple with its small, three-lobed leaves, the male dogwood, whose fruit (dogwood) is edible when ripe, and clematis. Forest birds abound: chaffinch, blackbird, nightingale, black-capped warbler, oriole, blue and great tits, jay, green woodpecker, cuckoo, turtle-dove...
On the southern side, particularly in May, you can admire Montpellier aphylla, Narbonne flax, perennial lettuce, meadowsweet, lily-leaved phalangere, white companion, ranunculus...
In the central part of the relaxation area, you can see a reconstruction of rural activities of yesteryear: olive grove, almond tree plantation, old mulberry tree, charcoal maker's hut, dry stone wall, etc.
A specially adapted and equipped trail awaits you - enjoy your walk!
