A Journey Back in Time in the Heart of the Cévennes
Discover or rediscover how the steam locomotives of yesteryear worked, thanks to the expertise of our passionate teams. Each journey is an immersion in railway history, made possible by the dedication of those who maintain this heritage and by the support of travelers who help preserve it.
The Cévennes Landscape
The train takes you on a journey to discover the Cévennes and the diversity of its landscapes. Throughout the journey, admire the valleys, forests, and rivers as you cross viaducts and tunnels in the heart of lush, green countryside.
You can make a stop along the way to visit the Bamboo Garden.
And to experience the train in a different way, hop aboard our themed trains: an Escape Game to solve the Secret of the Cévennes Express, a gourmet journey with the Dining Car and the Train des Saveurs, go behind the scenes with a special “Behind the Scenes of the TVC” day and the Locomotive Baptism, the Musical Train… and a magical adventure aboard the Santa Claus Train. Plenty of unforgettable adventures await you!

The Dining Car: Two dates per month from April through October, Sundays only (except July–August).
Enjoy lunch in the prestigious dining car while admiring the magnificent landscapes of the Cévennes.
The dining car is not wheelchair accessible.
The Train of Flavors, 6th Edition – Saturday, June 6, 2026
Experience a special journey to savor dishes prepared by the Marie-Curie Hotel School using local products, paired with wines from local vineyards. Combine culinary delights with a journey through time.
Departure from Anduze: 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:00 p.m. – Return from St. Jean-du-Gard at 4:15 p.m.
